Photo Etched soft enamel
An image of your design is transferred onto the surface of the metal. Your design is then etched into the metal using an acid process. The acids are rinsed off, and the indentions are then filled with the enamel color one at a time. The sheets of metal are then fired and the pins cut out. The non-colored raised areas are then plated to a shiny gold or silver finish. An optional epoxy dome can be applied at no extra charge to protect your pin.
Die Struck soft enamel/Stamped steel
A die is made to the image of your design. Your image is stamped onto the sheet of metal. Pins are cut out to the design of your pin. Plating is done next to the raised areas of the pin. Then the indentations are then filled with the enamel color one at a time. The pins are then fired and an optional epoxy dome can be applied at no extra charge to protect your pins.
These are the two most popular processes for trading pins due to quality of pins and the economical price. More expensive options are available, contact us for information and cost of other processes.

Danglers: 1/2"-3/4" add .65-.75 per pin
Blinkies: Add .75 for 1 and 1.25 for 2
Bobble heads: Add 1.00 per pin
Sliders: 1/2"-3/4" add .65-.75 per pin
Spring Pins: 1/2"-3/4" add .65-.75 per pin
Glitter color: Add .10 per color per pin
Simulated gem stones: Add .15 per stone per pin
Add ons can add up to a week to production time.
Prices based on an average order of 500-1000 pins. Orders of lesser quantities will occur a higher add on price. Orders of larger quantities will occur a lower add on price.
